Alison Clarke

New York Engagement Manager

Alison Clarke is the New York Engagement Manager of Benefits Data Trust. She is responsible for working closely with government agencies, community-based organizations, and non-profits streamlining access to public benefits for New Yorkers.

Prior to joining BDT, Alison worked for over 15 years in the NYC municipal government and the health and human services nonprofit sector. In her most recent previous role, Alison oversaw implementation of Family First for foster care congregate settings and helped enhance systems to improve foster care searches in NYC. She led a large homeless services case management project from inception to completion, integrating disparate programs. She worked in the early days of online benefit screening tools in NYC, streamlining benefits access for NYC’s most vulnerable residents.

Alison has an MPA from NYU’s Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and earned her BA at Barnard College. She resides in Brooklyn, NY with her family where she enjoys volunteering in her local park.
