Stefanie Arck-Baynes became Benefits Data Trust‘s director of communications and marketing in April. According to the announcement in BDT’s newsletter, “she will lead the expansion of the organization’s communications activities and the creation of a branding and marketing strategy to help BDT achieve higher levels of influence and impact.”
Arck-Baynes worked at Philabundance for the past five years — starting as senior manager of communications and public relations, moving up to deputy director of communications, and then serving as director of communications for the past three years.
Before Philabundance, she served as vice president of strategic communications at Opportunity Finance Network; manager of marketing and communications at the Brooklyn Public Library; and manager of affiliate marketing at Barnes & Noble.com, among other positions.
Arck-Baynes is a board member of the Philadelphia Public Relations Association. She has served as member of the Global Leadership Initiative of the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia, and as a board member of the Raven Society of the Free Library of Philadelphia.
She also volunteers her time at Operation Ava, where she writes descriptions and take photographs of adoptable dogs, something she started doing for the organization in 2013.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Muhlenberg College.
