Jordan Smith is a Maryland Engagement Manager at Benefits Data Trust, based out of Baltimore. Before joining the team, he worked with the NewDEAL as the Assistant to the CEO and General Support to the whole NewDEAL team. In his work with the NewDEAL, Jordan supported the team with scheduling, event coordination, database oversight, maintenance, drafting correspondence, drafting briefs, and other writing assignments. Before joining NewDEAL, Jordan worked on various political campaigns in field and finance operations in Virginia and North and South Carolina. Jordan helped execute field and fundraising strategies and conduct constituent research in these different roles. Originally from Richmond, VA, Jordan graduated in 2018 from Emory and Henry College with a double major in Political Science and Civic Innovation.
