Jillian Humphries is a Policy Manager at BDT, working on a team that assists states in streamlining access to programs like Medicaid, WIC, and SNAP. She started with BDT in April 2022 and is currently managing a project that seeks to identify and share best practices for data coordination between SNAP and Medicaid.

Prior to joining BDT, she spent over twelve years working in local government in North Carolina within multiple benefit programs such as Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, and more. Her experience in this field took many forms including caseworker, supervisor, subject matter expert, quality assurance manager, and program administrator, giving her varying levels of understanding and insight into benefits access.

Jillian received her Associate of Arts from Isothermal Community College, her B.S. in Psychology from Fayetteville State University, and her MPA from Walden University. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in Public Policy & Administration with Walden University.
