Elisa Zygmunt
Deputy Chief of Innovation and Product
Elisa Zygmunt, Deputy Chief for Innovation and Product, oversees the development of products and services that make individuals’ access to public benefits quicker, easier, and more person-centered. As a founding member of BDT, Elisa has played a critical role in every aspect of BDT's evolution from a local service organization to a national organization with diverse product offerings. Her contributions have supported growth and diversification of annual revenues from $3M in 2009 to more than $35M. During her tenure at BDT, she has overseen successful launches of benefits centers in five states, a variety of state initiatives and pilots, data analytics to test optimal outreach strategies, and guided strategy for the development of digital tools to expand impact.
Prior to joining BDT, Elisa coordinated a residential program with CareLink Community Support Services, which prompted her to obtain a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, with a focus on systemic change. Elisa earned her BA in Psychology from Haverford College, as well as a certificate from the Non-profit Executive Leadership Institute at Bryn Mawr.
