Why Benefits Data Trust?

"Leveraging technology to improve government services for those most in need of them. BDT's beautiful working space is a nice perk too!"

Your guilty pleasure (Music, TV Show, Movie, etc):

Just about every pop song out there.

One accomplishment you are most proud of:

Having a radio show during college was a very fun time and something I never thought I would do in my life.

Passionate about:

Civic technology, responsible design and use of technology, my family, reading, and podcasts.

Best advice ever received:

I learned about the benefits of practicing gratitude from a TED talk. Since then (roughly six years ago), I’ve kept a gratitudes journal. It is a nice way to take a moment to appreciate things I might take for granted otherwise and it is a good reminder for me on the days when I’m in a sour mood, that my life is pretty nice.

Volunteer work:

In high school I volunteered at a soup kitchen. In college, once a month I would see hospital patients and provide the Catholic services known as Communion if they wished to receive it. Hopefully soon I will participate in one of the projects run by Volunteering Untapped PHL.

One item on your bucket list:

Take a dance class!

If I had chosen another career, I would have been…:

I come from a family of lawyers and nurses so likely one of those.
