Director Of Partnerships
As Director of Partnerships for Benefits Data Trust (BDT), Alissa oversees a team of more than 15 people dedicated to building and maintaining relationships with government, community organizations, and others who are critical to streamlining access to public benefits. Alissa has worked in a variety of non-profit and local government settings throughout her career, with a focus on the intersection of economic mobility and public health. Her prior professional roles include: Director of Strategic Initiatives and Communications at University City District, an economic development organization in West Philadelphia; Senior Economic Advisor in the New York City Mayor’s Office of Workforce Development, where she helped re-envision the City’s approach to job training; and Senior Policy Analyst at New York City Council, where she covered food and health policy for the Speaker. Alissa received her BA from the University of Pennsylvania and her MS from the Harvard School of Public Health.
